Randstad Managed Services ranked as a mid-market and project RPO leader

Listed as ‘one to watch’ in last year’s survey, Randstad Managed Services (RMS) has now moved onto the Bakers Dozen rankings to be listed as a leader for RPO mid-market and project programmes.

The HRO Today Baker’s Dozen Customer Satisfaction Ratings for RPO, is purely founded upon a customer feedback survey and was based on 466 surveys from 266 companies. The survey was comprised from more than 40 qualitative or quantitative questions and with responses being strictly confidential, customers are able to be completely candid about their provider.

Being rated as a mid-market and project leader high-lights RMS’ expertise at delivering multiyear RPO projects or on-demand programmes on a global basis.

Shortlisted: Outstanding Outsourced Recruitment Organisation

Companies were shortlisted for achieving outstanding success for their clients in conceiving, developing and implementing a cohesive recruitment/talent management strategy or strategies. They needed to demonstrate their own financial stability and profitability as well as business innovation, enhancing the client’s employer brand, and playing a significant role in helping their clients reach and exceed their goals. They also needed to provide evidence of significant value-add to the partnership.

The judges recognised organisations who added outstanding value to their business partnerships and relationships, and not those who simply provide a solid professional service. They also looked for innovation and profitability.

Best Companies accreditation 2011

Best Companies established the accreditation award scheme to acknowledge excellence in the workplace. Based on staff feedback, it looks at employee engagement as an integral part of a company's success and growth, and sets a benchmark for other employers. The accreditation scheme follows a Michelin star style system with companies awarded one star for first class, two stars for outstanding and three stars for extraordinary performance. Randstad Managed Services was awarded two stars for 2011.

The Sunday Times Best Small Company to Work For 2011

We entered the much coveted The Sunday Times Best Small Company to Work For list for the first time in 2010. Each year, Best Companies and The Sunday Times celebrate the best small, mid-size and big workplaces in the UK. Employees from participating organisations are surveyed based on a rigorous methodology. This enables Best Companies to compile lists of the 100 top companies in each size category, which The Sunday Times publish. Every year the prestige of this list builds, making this the competition that every organisation wants to be involved in. We were delighted to make it onto the list and our placement of 28 on our inaugural attempt is an achievement we are very proud of.

We were just one of two companies to secure finalist status in this prestigious UK Recruiter Award category for Outsourced Recruitment Services.

Best Managed Service Provider 2007

In 2007, we were awarded the title of ‘Best Managed Service Provider’ for the second consecutive year, an unprecedented achievement within this UK Recruiter Award Category.

The panel of judges tasked with choosing the winner were experts within the recruitment and HR world and were drawn from a range of diverse organisations including Cranfield University, Singer & Friedlander, KPMG, the Department of Trade and Industry and Google. The panel remarked, 'For one of its major clients, RMS' achievements include:

• Decreasing the average cost per hire by 33%
• Increasing direct hires from 0% to 53% of all hires within the space of just one year
• Reducing time to hire to an average of 28 days
• Increasing internal mobility to 20%, year to date
• The alignment of suppliers against each of the client’s business areas to ensure only specialist recruitment consultancies are working with the specialist areas.”

National Outsourcing Awards 2007

We were one of just five other national and global organisations to be shortlisted in the highly competitive category of "Best Outsourcing Service Provider of the Year" at the National Outsourcing Awards 2007.

Best Managed Service Provider 2006

In 2006 we were named ‘Best Managed Service Provider’ by a panel of senior HR and recruitment professionals drawn from organisations across the UK, including KPMG and Deloitte.

The judges at the Recruiter Magazine Awards highlighted our impressive growth in the recruitment outsourcing market over the last few years and pinpointed our ability to do the seemingly impossible – increase direct hires and reduce agency hires by as much as 20% in 6 months, whilst simultaneously increasing agency satisfaction.

The panel were impressed with our approach to recruitment outsourcing, stating:

"They made it a priority to fully understand hiring areas within the client company and requirements for each vacancy in order to communicate those issues to agencies. RMS also instituted a review process for recruitment suppliers, and ensured that suppliers had greater access, more quickly than before, to information they needed."
